Common Questions

Do you only work in certain industries?
No. The lab model is industry neutral. It works wherever there is defined, high-volume work sitting on top of a business system that already holds the answer, which covers the industries we have worked in so far. What changes between one and the next is the vocabulary, the systems, and the regulations the lab has to respect.
What if our industry is not listed?
The list reflects where we have done the most work rather than the limit of where the model applies. If your business runs on enterprise systems and your teams are carrying a backlog of repeatable work, the model fits.
Do you build industry-specific solutions or generic ones?
Mostly specific, since the value sits in fitting your process rather than an average of everybody's. The accelerators we have already built give you a head start where one matches, and the lab extends it. Where none matches, the lab builds against your requirements from the start.
Can you work with our existing ERP?
Yes. We integrate with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, and other major platforms, and with the CRM, HCM, PLM, and data systems around them. Connectors are built during stand-up, and you do not have to modernize anything first.
What compliance frameworks do you support?
It depends on your industry: SOC 2, NIST 800-171, HIPAA, FDA and GxP, FedRAMP, CMMC, ITAR, and FAR and DFARS among others. The compliance posture is established during stand-up. For aerospace, defense, and government contracting there is a dedicated practice with its own section.
How is Mach12 different from a traditional consulting firm?
A consulting firm sells you a project and leaves with the capability. We build the capability into your organization and hand it over. The deliverable is a lab that keeps shipping after we scale down.
Do you work with mid-size companies or only large enterprises?
Both. The model scales down cleanly. A smaller company usually has fewer systems and shorter decision paths, which often means the first build ships sooner than it would at a large enterprise.
We operate in several industries. Does that complicate things?
Not much. The lab is built once and applied across the portfolio. Multi-industry and multi-entity organizations often see more value from a single lab than from separate efforts per division, since the patterns and the platform get reused.
